ds2 (6m) has eczema and is quite wheezy too. Is this quite common?

Or could it be a sign of asthma?
I am seeing the dr but just wondered what other peoples experiences were?

Any reputable doctor would not diagnose asthma in any child under 2.

Ds1 has a chest condition and when he is wheezy he gets quite bad eczema. we always put it down to the reduiction in oxeygen getting to the skin.

Signs to watch out for regarding the wheeze are a rattle in his chest, his ribs going in when he breeths (recession), grunting, blue tinge to the lips.

Hope the doctor can help.

Its actually more of a snuffliness or congestion rather than wheezey, come to think of it and he's always had it since he had the eczema. I just wondered if it was common for the 2 to go hand and hand
I mentioned it to the dr before but she wasn't too worried. As long as he was feeding ok and putting on weight it was ok, she assured me.

Also twice I have fed him a little dairy (milk in porridge) and he went red and started crying. Could that be an allergy or just that he wasn't enjoying it?

I'm probably just being over anxious.
