My son has been diagnosed with a fish allergy by a consultant at the London Allergy and Immunology Centre (we were advised by GP to go private as the waiting lists for skin prick tests on NHS were very long). He has just recently had a bad anaphylactic reaction to cashew nuts (we think) needing EpiPen treatment, and we do need to been seen urgently at an allergy clinic as advised by a+e doctor.
I wasn't that impressed with the consultant we saw at the previous clinic - does anyone have any recommendations of private allergy clinics in London? The GP is also referring us within the NHS but I'm obviously keen not to wait too long before being seen by a consultant and have further testing done, as we don't actually know what caused the latest reaction (definitely not fish).
