Singapore and peanut allergy

Morning!

I am just posting in the off chance anyone has direct experience of being in Singapore when a peanut allergy is an issue? We may be going to Singapore this time next year but I am worried about DS1's allergies. We tend to buy the amazing allergy language cards from Allergy UK and I would assume we would need (if they have them) Cantonese, Malay and Mandarin, and we would most likely only eat in the hotel or my family member's club to try and minimise risk. Sadly not going to try the wonderful street food and hawker centres this time.

I am worried of course and just wanted to know if there is any advice / experiences I can read about!

TIA. Thanks

in Singapore the service in most places is great, be clear, confirm serious allergy, will be listened to. We have a food allergy, once they realised it was an Allergic Response not dislike (Irish often use the term allergic for strong dislike) we were taken seriously and enjoyed our trip without issue.

I wasn’t blown away by street/hawker food in Singapore anyhow, Newton worth a look to say that you had been but don’t bother eating.
