Husband allergic to nuts and eggs, should I avoid them while I'm pregnant?

I've only just found out that I'm pregnant with my first child and haven't been to the doctor yet. I wondered if I could get some early advice from MNers.

My husband is severely allergic to nuts and eggs. Although he has not had a bad reaction for some years, when he was younger he was often in hospital due to severe reactions.

I'm wondering if I should completely avoid nuts and eggs while I'm pregnant? Has anyone had any advice about this?

Thanks in advance from a nervous first-timer.
