My 3 month old ds is v.snuffly especially at night. I think it is allergies rather than a cold as he has no other symptoms of a cold and his dad is a walking, talking allergic reaction! He used to sleep for 6 hours but now wakes x 2 and has difficulty feeding. I have tried using a vapouriser, one of those gross suck the snot out contraptions, elevating his cot head and saline drops but there has only been a small improvement - any more ideas?

see your gp? Do you change the bedding very regularly? If he has any stuffed toys, take them out of the bed, hover his mattress regularly. How long has he been like this? Has anything changed recently?

Thanks Mad, I have taken the stuffed toys out. Normally change the bed once a week - should I change it more often? I will try hoovering his mattress. And I am taking him to the GP if he doesn't improve over the weekend. He is v.happy otherwise but poor thing is not sleeping very well.

normaly once a week fine but it may be bed bugs or dust mites that are causing prob.. just a suggestion! Am going through similar prob but with esthma (SP!!) at night trying to work out what could be making it worse!
