Hello!
My DD (21 months) was diagnoses with CMPA at 3 weeks old. We've tried the milk ladder a couple times and she's failed miserably just a couple days into step one sadly. Dietician support has been great but I just wanted to ask the hive mind about random mucousy poops.
That I know of - she's not had anything with milk in. However she's at nursery regularly and loves a bit of floor food given half the chance. She'll spot it a mile off. So not impossible.
She's been a bit up and down this morning, she's asked for bed a couple times and spent some time snug with me up there which isn't like my little duracell bunny.
She's not long ago done a poo that was pure mucous. Bless her, she wasn't thrilled about it and does seem to have a little spotty rash over her. I assumed the rash was heatrash yesterday.
She's cutting her 4 incisors but isn't dribbly with it as such and it's not bothering her at the moment as they've all broken the gum.
Just after experiences of other allergy parents and whether you've noticed teething gives the same sort of mucousy poops. Or whether that's saved for "yeah she's definitely gotten into something she shouldn't have!".
We are due another milk ladder trial which obviously I'll put off for a bit but mainly curious how you've been able to tell the difference!
Thanks!
