Allergy poo or teething poo or just normal weaning poo

Hello,

I've looked at thousands of poo pictures online and now feel completely confused whether my 6 and a half month’s poo is teething, weaning or allergy related.

LO is EBF and has tried lots of veggies, wheat, egg etc. today, I introduced yoghurt and she’s done 2 poos like the one below.

previously, I asked the doctor and HV about her poo being slimy and possibly having mucus but as she’s a happy bath they said not to worry.

so basically asking whether this is normal poo or something to investigate further.

I would say this is a reaction poo. Either from the yoghurt or something you have eaten and it’s in your breast milk.

My little girl is only 5.5 months and she has had a dairy, soya, coconut, oat, and many more allergies since she was born. I am also EBF and have cut so much out of my diet.

I would book an appointment with your doctor to be referred to a dietitian. Does your LO have any other symptoms? Like a rash on her face or body? Smelly poos or windy? Xx

She doesn’t have a rash and I’m not sure if she’s overly windy. But if she is, it’s at night and she can wake up unsettled from it and once it’s passed she’ll go back to sleep.
Her poos don’t really smell but will keep an eye on that.
When you spoke to the doctors, did you keep pictures to show them? Last time I spoke to them, they didn’t seem to think there was any issues.

@FTMUM92 just wondered how your baby got on and if mucus nappies eventually calmed down? We have just started weaning and every poo is a mucus poo! I’m thinking surely baby can’t be allergic to everything!?

Did you get an answer to this? This is currently happening with my 6mo and she's pooing 4 to 5 times a day.

@Nikii1823 it just happened whilst weaning. His gut was getting used to having to digest other things other than milk. The poos settled soon enough
