Still unsure whether it's likely my boy has CMPA - NAPPY PICS

I've been dairy free for almost two weeks now, just out of desperation really to see if it helps my breastfed 6-week-old.

He has really bad gas and dyschezia, and a bit of reflux (silent and regular). He can generally be quite fussy. He's also had congestion for over two weeks - I thought it was a cold, but maybe not.

He doesn't have any skin problems.

He does one poo a day. His poos before I went dairy free were runny, mustard-coloured, maybe with a tinge of green. He'd sometimes have extremely small green poos (like a smudge) in between his big poos. Note that the mass in the middle of the nappy in the photo isn't poo, it's just a fold in the nappy!

Since going dairy free, his poos seem thicker and more orange-brown. They actually seem to have more mucus in, but maybe that's from swallowing mucus during his cold.

Otherwise, I've noticed no change or improvement in his symptoms since going dairy free.

What do you reckon? Is this likely CMPA? Or is it likely normal baby stuff (albeit his wind and dyschezia is worse than most babies')

It's interesting that his poop has changed. Do you think he may have another allergy? About 50% of people with CMPA also react to soy.

@PritiPatelsMaker I'm honestly not sure he has any allergy at all, and I kind of think his problems are just one of those things that hopefully he'll grow out of. But I really don't know! I'm avoiding soy as well now, although I wasn't really checking for it for the last couple of weeks. I can't imagine I've eaten much of it, though.

I'm wondering whether his poo has changed because he's been swallowing mucus from his cold. Or maybe because I'm only giving him one breast each feed now (to reduce oversupply) so maybe he's getting more hindmilk.

But tbh I have no clue what's happening or how to help him. I just feel so stressed and sad.

Sorry that you're feeling down. Just wondering if he's been assessed for Tongue Tie? My DS had a lot of similar symptoms and his was caused by TT.
