My little boy (now 18wks) has been 'me colic' from day 1
At 4wks old I got mastitis and had to stop feeding him (i did for a few days with mastitis but couldn't as had a fever and it was so painful!)

We moved him onto a normal formula but was still colicky and stopped pooing

Spoke to the GP who were useless and the HV suggested HiPP organic

After battles with the GP (and demanding to speak to a different doctor as the first one ignored us) showing videos of him trying to poo we were given lactalose

Count forward a good few more weeks they suggested at least doubling the recommended maximum and he still only goes every 5 days (but at least isn't in pain)

A couple more weeks they've spoken to the paediatrician and suggested we use 'Apimel Pepti 1' (which they're also refusing to prescribe)

But my little boy point blank is refusing to eat it

Anyone had any similar experiences/ have any suggestions

Xxx

Have you tried adding vanilla essence or Nesquik? Makes it more palatable.

Ooh thank you - will try that 😊

Have you managed to try it yet @Kiki91? Was it any use?

Fingers crossed, we got some vanilla extract but in the meantime he's been for a poo so is now eating it. Think he must have been really uncomfortable 🤞🤞🤞 it's on standby though just in case
Thank you x
