Anyone have any experience introducing lactose to a baby with an intolerance?

my 19 week old daughter had suspected CMPA we were advised to give SMA LF first which resolved all the issues. We saw an allergist paediatrician when she was about 10 weeks who said approaching 4 months we should start to try her on normal SMA, 1oz to a 6oz bottle of LF formula and keep going like that.

we tried her at 14 weeks (silly us, we did it at the same time as she had some jabs) she was unsettled - could have been the jabs but we stopped.

she’s now 19 weeks so we were going to try again. Has anyone done this? How long should we do one Oz in a bottle for, like how quickly or slowly should we increase the SMA to LF ratio?

we were discharged from the paediatrician at the time as she was happy with our daughter and had given us a plan as she said she should have grown out of the intolerance by 4 months.

I plan to speak to our health visitor anyway but unfortunately she’s not very helpful and it is very difficult to get hold of her. She has a very ‘she’s your baby’ attitude which I completely agree with, but a bit of guidance here and there wouldn’t go amiss as she’s our first.

any advice or experience from anybody would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance :)
