Should I avoid certain foods? Allergy/pregnancy related

My 3 year old is IGE to egg, CMPA and has now thankfully outgrown wheat allergy.

Research suggests that siblings are likely to have allergies. I’m pregnant with my second baby and wandered what others did, regarding breastfeeding and avoiding certain foods towards latter end of pregnancy in readiness of the birth of my second child, incase second child also has allergies.

My son was a really hard work baby, and was having typical allergy reactions through my milk (without me knowing at the time, until he was weaning onto solids)

I'd be interested to know this as well, although it's me with the allergies, not the DC.

Is DS under a Paediatric Dietitian? Maybe you could check with them?

I spoke with the dietician last week, advise us to not take anything out of my diet until I notice baby reacting, then it’s a case of eliminating foods and trying to figure out which food is causing the issues. They can stay in the breast milk for a further 3 weeks so seems to me there would be some unnecessary suffering doing it this way.

It would be abs I can see your reluctance but there would be some improvement each day. After stopping dairy I felt so much better after just 2 days.

It's been a while since I had my DC. When I was having my last one, we were told to avoid peanuts if there were allergies in the family, however I think there's been more research abs that may have changed?
