Basically he has a tendency to mild excema. Normally great but occassionally gets dry and itchy. Came in to me as he had been scratching behind one knee and it was all red and raw looking. I put Lush Dream Cream on which we normally use. He screamed as it was stinging.

Then had another battle to get him to take antibs he is on (why do they make a foul tasting foul textured thing for children?????).

Leg still stinging so found some emulsfying ointment and put that on. He says it is still stinging.

Any ideas how I can stop it stinging?

Am thinking of putting him in a warm bath but he is not keen (we are both tired).

Not sure I have any anti-histamine. He has been fine for so long.

I know!

He is on ABs just now for a suspected sinus infection although doc says he isn't fitting the profile completely. If no better (i.e. not so snotty!) afterwards she said she will treat for allergies.

He seems OK now. Says it has stopped stinging.
