I do have hay fever but normally I get itchy throat nose etc.
This time pollen levels are low and all I'm getting is itchy eye (actually I normally get all other symptoms but not itchy eyes).

I wonder now if it's hay fever or something else. They're not red only itchy

Has anyone ever had just itchy eyes because

Itchy eyes is my main hay fever symptom, I get a bit sneezy but could cope easily with it- it’s the eyes that drive me mad! It’s definitely been worse this year, and I find can also be aggravated if I go somewhere dusty.

I would have said it definitely sounds like it could be hay fever, but you say pollen levels are low where you are so maybe not?

You can buy itchy/allergy eye drops in any pharmacy/supermarket. I've been affected this year more than usual, but they do help and soothe an irritated eye.

Depending on the time of year sometimes itchy eyes is my only symptom.

You need Opticrom Hayfever eye drops. I didn’t find anything else as good.

Thanks for the helpful advice I will get those.

Any recommendations for a child by any chance?

My eyes have been horrendous this year (first time ever and I'm 47).
I went to chemist and asked for antihistamine drops. They've really really helped.
