DS possible peanut allergy or reaction to skin prick test?

Hoping someone knowledgeable MNetters can provide some advice.

DS (5mo) has Ezcema which has been under really good control of late with emollient/ weekend steroid use. We were referred for allergy testing prior to weaning and results showed possible CMPA/ egg allergy but negative for all else. I was advised to start weaning and introduce peanuts asap. We did so with a small amount of peanut butter & water yesterday morning the day after the allergy test...yesterday afternoon he had a really bad flare up of his skin including some hives...clearly an allergic response.

My question - could this be a non IGE / delayed reaction to the skin prick test milk/egg? Anyone experienced a flare up after this test?
Or
Could it be a peanut allergy despite showing negative in the skin prick?

Thanks in advance
