If anyone caught breakfast on the beeb and saw the allergy stuff, that was our family.
The chaps from the beeb came over last night to film us.
I am so proud of my son!
William did a fab job!!

we also have our story on the news site in the health section.

By gum! I saw it!!!! and I thought to nyself that it was the sort of thing a mnetter would want to do....

William did soooo well, was so poised!

NorthernRockCod · 26/09/2007 11:18

did oyu pretend to haev breakfast liek they normally do

williamsmummy · 26/09/2007 11:22

sort of, they wanted us to cook, and I was a bit horrified as hadnt cleaned the top of oven for a while!!

Had to do a quick scrub!!

I hadnt thought of that, had rushed around kicking things under sofa, and brushing hair at the same time, and begging kids to be sensible.
They came over at 5.30pm and didnt leave until 7.30ish. But I pleased with results!

happystory · 27/09/2007 14:18

You were on the 10 o'clock news last night too (but they edited out your big boys )

Magicmayhem · 27/09/2007 15:38

we saw this last night... well just the ending off it... ironic really, we had DS allergy tested again yesterday at Basingstoke General hospital

how did they contact you for it?

williamsmummy · 27/09/2007 16:17

the anaphylaxis campaign asked for volunteers to give the press their story.
So, I called and there you go.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 22:05

have signed up for the bbc site just to add a comment. Can't believe all the people who think a bit of dirt would make a difference - or the lets feed them all nuts and kill them all comment!

Unfortunately the character limit prevents me saying everything I'd like to.
