Thick grey slime in baby poo

Choccy10 · 29/04/2020 15:37

I mix feed breastmilk and nutrimigen (due to low supply). My dd (almost 6 months) has had a thick dark grey semi solid formed slime in her poo on a few occasions. I initially thought it was down to a CMPA we suspect she has, but the last two times she’s had it she had no dairy (via breast milk). I know nutrimigen has broken down milk protein but would have thought she’d get this far more regularly if that was the cause. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Shame I can’t post a photo, although it’s not pleasant!

Is she on solids yet OP?

No, first try of food was today actually (all the grey semi formed poo bits were on milk only)

That a bit odd. I wonder if they are reacting to something else? Having said that I have CMPA and my reactions can vary quite a bit.

What have you been eating? Proteins can pass through breast milk
