Early pregnancy and hay fever

I’ve just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant. I have been taking Loratadine every day up to this point and I will of course now stop using this. There are such conflicting views on this during pregnancy, particularly the first trimester. Did anyone else rake this during early pregnancy/ was advised that it was okay by a GP?

loratadine and cetirizine are considered ok.
I have severe hayfever and was prescribed a steroid nasal spray.
dc are totally fine

Thank you. That is a relief. Never gave it a thought until I read the packet last night for the Loratadine. Sorry, what does dc stand for?

Dc... Dear child/children.
I doubled up on my hay-fever medication.. 2 types.. Early on in pregnancy for a wedding in field at peak of grass season (which I react worst too)... And got incredibly drunk... Turns out I was about 5 weeks gone but had a light period so hadn't realised. Baby was fine..
For some reason my hay-fever symptoms were a lot less in pregnancy... As if my body thought... Hey why am I bothered/over reacting to pollen when I have a baby with 50%different genes inside me...
I didn't need as much medication
