Cat allergy linked to what food? Anyone know?

I have a very bad cat allergy. I have been on a meal replacement diet for the last 3 weeks and my allergy has disappeared so obviously it is linked to food but anyone have any idea what food it might be please?

I have never heard of a dietary link to car allergy (ever!)

But I noticed that DS's asthma gets worse when having dairy, which then makes him less tolerant to encounters to other airborne allergens (cat dander included).

Having said that, not all cats are equally allergenic. DS can get a serious asthma attack with ones but can happily stroke others without a sign of a reaction. My sister is the same, a well groomed cat can get her in a rash even by being near to a person who touched that cat. But she has no problem with scruffy cats.
