Does anyone get itchy skin with hay fever?

My hayfever hasn't been too bad this summer but I keep getting an itchy forehead

I was sitting in the garden until late last night and suddenly felt very hay fevery and my face was really itchy.

Still a bit itchy this morning. I can't take antihistamine unless it's really bad so I'm going to slap some anti histamine cream on and see if that helps.

Anyone else do anything different to help?

I do but nothing bloody helps. I grew up On the back of a farm and spent my pre teen years sitting in hay bales - nothing. I now live in a town and want to cry from march to August. Bastard histamine.

Only thing that makes me ok is steroid spray from gp.

I've been using E45 anti itch cream,it's helping a bit.

Yes!! I find taking a hay fever tablet made from Cetirizine really helps. The other kinds don’t touch it.

If I go camping and forget the tablets I end up with a rash that like dry skin but moisturiser doesn’t get rid of it. Antihistamine with Cetirizine really helps 🙂 I don’t know if you can get Cetirizine in a cream?
