The family is all meeting up for a picnic on Saturday with a Bbq in the evening and a family member cannot have cows milk or eggs. Id like to be able to offer something for her that still fits on the buffet type style and makes her feel included as sausage rolls, quiches etc are a no go. Im happy to make and bake things or buy things for her.. Thank you

These occasions are really tricky when you have allergies so it's lovely you are making the effort for your family member. I always appreciate it when people make the effort to provide safe food for my son who has allergies to egg, dairy and nuts. We buy the frozen sausage rolls from sainsbury's which are fine, I am sure the other supermarkets do an equivalent as well. You can make quiche with tofu instead of egg and shop brought pastry is mostly dairy free in my experience. There are a lot of vegan pizza's available to buy in supermarkets as well which would work ok as a buffet type food.

Lots of shops have both a fresh chilled free from section and a frozen one which may be helpful although a lot of products in this section do still contain egg and dairy as they seem to cater mostly for gluten free diets.

I always find it tricky in a group situation with cross contamination and people using utensils to dish up unsafe food and then safe food so keeping the safe food separate is important too.
