Ds used it and it was ok. It's now been changed to something else due to cost (moved to a cheaper one). He also takes a daily antihistamine

Sorry, dh not ds

DS23 uses it for hayfever and finds it very effective.

I used it for a while and found it grand, no side effects at all and did the job. I switched to another nasal spray after a few months though because of the cost. I'm in Ireland and iirc it was around 40 euro a month which was just too steep for me.

Dh got it on prescription but it must be too expensive as it got changed the last time we picked it up

DramaAlpaca · 28/09/2018 22:03

I'm in Ireland too. It's expensive here alright, but all medicines are.

When I was changed to this by my specialist some years ago it was the newest and best available I was told

I’ve used steroid nasal sprays for 36 years and find it good

I also use an antihistamine nasal spray during the worst pollen and mould seasons too as the latest research has found topical antihistamine to be more effective for me it’s been really helpful

I begged my GP to prescribe this for my hayfever last year as my dad was given it for his allergic rhinitis.

This summer for the first time in 40 years I have had no hay-fever symptoms at all after using this twice a day from April onwards. Usually I have months of hayfever so bad that my nose and throat bleed from all the sneezing, I am awake all night most nights and just really poorly. I was truly poorly and taking so many hayfever tablets I wasn't safe to drive. The only downside I have found, as with all nasal sprays is that it takes away your sense of smell ( mine usually comes back about November) and occasionally I have woken in the morning with a slight bloody taste in my mouth.

This product has truly saved my life!!!
