Hello everyone
I have been thinking recently to try a different approach to my condition

I gave birth in May 2016. I had an emergency c-section. After the operation my back was really itchy and then In the next two weeks or so I was itchy all over, particularly in my scalp!! GP diagnosed me with unknown urticaria and prescribed Cetirizine once a day. Said it can go away in a few months or it could take years!!

If I have the pill, I am fine. If not, takes about two days to become worse enough for me to not be able to sleep.

I am currently trying out Bach Flower Remedies and was advised if it doesn't work to go to a classic homeopath. So far I am on day three and not very successful.

The dad of a friend had surgery on his leg with an epidural and is suffering with the same..

Has anyone else out there experienced the same?
Any advice?

I’ve not experienced this so can’t be of much help it have you tried going back to the GP?

i have hives, and had a spinal and an epidural. I have never ever put the two together
I am a writhing heap of auto immune nonsense though

Just keep taking the antihistamines, they work.

Well I am thinking that the pills are not a cure. They just cover the symptoms, so in the long run, it could become worse

Especially as I cannot even sleep without them

I am thinking if trying homeopathy

you could try homeopathy, but isn't that just teenytiny sugar pills?

or try DIY Pillfree Homeopathy and throw yourself in a nettle patch and let your body cure itself, I do believe that's the principle.
