"organix fruit doubles"-are they ok if avoiding citrus, as most commercial fruit purees contain lemon juice?

Has anyone used these, as I have just heard that there is a pear one, that just contains organic pear and a trace ascorbic acid. Have avoided things like these so far as most brands use lemon juice as a preservative, and want to avoid citrus for a while for fh of asthma, bad excema etc. Are going away next week, so it would be really convenient to use these instead of taking frozen pear cubes.

alibo - try your local health food shop, mine stock some sort of fruit pots that are just fruit and absolutely nothing else, not specially for babies but just for general 'healthy' use. I usually take an apple and blueberry one out with me for dd instead of a baby food jar.

Have just done a quick search for them;

scroll to the 4th one down

They are just fruit and considering you get 2 pots for 1.15, they're cheaper than baby food. Would definitely recommend them.
