Eating out in Amsterdam with a nut allergy

My DS has a nut allergy and we are also veggie. we haven't ventured out of the country yet! Its not always easy here and would like to know if anyone has any experience with Amsterdam. Thank you

I expect its much the same as here I suspect. my daughter with milk allergy did the usual stick to chips etc, but she also had steak as not a veggie.
my peanut/bean/egg /fruit allergic son going next month, am sure he will find that a little tricky but in essence same as here.

my kids have been to spain, france Italy, usa from young age to adulthood and trust me its doable.

I would take out extra health travel insurance just for peace of mind.
