I'm just pondering whether I should do anything about this or not.
Short history - dd had a milk, soya and egg allergy diagnosed as a baby (egg positive in blood and the worst one). She's a very atopic child - has mild asthma and eczema but both are getting better with age. She outgrew them all (egg by the time she was 5/6, the others earlier).
On Saturday, she slept over at someone's house. It sounds like they all had calamari. She had one bite, knew straight away that something wasn't right and stopped eating. Her mouth became itchy and she felt sick but she didn't have a full blown reaction.
When we got her on Sunday, she was very pale and had a very nasty upset tummy till about Tuesday (everyone else who ate it was fine - this is a very typical post allergic reaction for her).
Now, I imagine there's a chance that she has a problem with squid but I don't know if we should just avoid seafood (it's not like she's going to be exposed to it a lot anyway) or whether I should, at some point, take her back to get tested.
I'm fairly laid back about her having allergies as dh still has his egg and chicken allergy so I have no problem avoiding foods if necessary iyswim.
