I have just recieved a new bottle of cetirizine for dd due to her allergies. I forgot about the way our chemist gave it last year which I hate? Is this a breech of their standards or does everyone receive it in this way? Because our doctor obviously states a different quantity (less), I think it must get poured from the main bottle into a different smaller bottle (that leaks lol) with no information on it other than the chemists lable stating how much to give and dds name ect. I know I only found out last year that it keeps for only 3 months (once opened) by chance after having a different bottle with it on. I remember phoning the chemist in disbelief that I'd previously been using it for a long time. If they are doing this with it I worry about the medicine left, how long will it sit in the chemist before someone else wants some and then its obviously been open before you even recieve it. I also remember last year dd suffering from lots of aches and pains, which has been a complaint over the last week. She has had a cold but just wondered if anyone else has had this taking this medicine?
