9 month old with eczema given neocate

hi, my friend's 9 month old just started nursery and within a week was off sick.

He has had quite bad eczema since birth. It got better using soy milk.
After being ill and not drinking any milk for a few days his eczema cleared up massively. On returning to milk his eczema flared up instantly. The GP has prescribed neocate. He takes it happily enough (I thought he might not as it tastes horrible) but then projectile vomited it back up.

Any advice for her? I've told her to get herself on here to ask you knowledgeable lot but in the meantime here I am...

Neocate is really thin and if he does have CMPA then he could also have reflux. You can thicken the milk with either gaviscon or carobel. Might be worth a try
