Yep my dd's back & face are very bad at the mo, don't know about the pollen connection though! How are you treating it?

chlochlo · 28/01/2007 21:11

me too ds looks quite sore today

belgo · 28/01/2007 21:12

Yes my dd's eczema is driving her made at night with the itching, but I think it's due to all the bugs she's recently had.

BernieBear · 28/01/2007 22:00

Same here, my d's hands are bad. In fact I have a flare up and I don't even have ezcema (tops of arms and trunk) Good think I'm single!

aDad · 28/01/2007 22:01

yep the last week not been good

cece · 28/01/2007 22:02

Mine has been bad this week - wondered why! Didn't know it was linked to pollen?

tinkerbellie · 28/01/2007 22:13

yes my sons is bad at the mo and i have developed it since i was pregnant with dd and it's driving me mad just on one arm

i think it's the central heating

brimfull · 28/01/2007 23:43

Thanks for all the replies.I'm just treating ds with epaderm and steroid cream on the bad bits, but I am interested to hear that others have noticed a change aswell.

Count us in! I suffer from year round hayfever and this has been the worst winter I have had in years Ds2 has had a nasty flare of eczema and is currently sporting 3 kinds of eczema, poor lad.

aDad · 29/01/2007 13:37

I think each change of season is a key time for flares, and although we haven't had a change of season in calendar terms, dd1's skin flared up just as the weather turned colder about a week ago and it stopped raining quite so much.

Who knows though, it is a bit of a mystery.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 29/01/2007 13:45

DS2's is usually well under control but it's been flaring up for several weeks now, which I am just about staying on top with hydrocortisone 1% ointment and Diprobase (rarely have to use hydrocortisone these days but using it every day just now.)

It's been a long time since he's had it on his face, but he's got patches round his mouth and chin and a patch on his chest.

ivelostmyboobsboohoo · 29/01/2007 13:53

no, my kids dont have it, but mine is awful but then am quite stressed at moment and thats always worst trigger for me.

brimfull · 29/01/2007 17:48

yes ds's face looks typically atopic at the moment.
