Cousin has many allergies. Is this 'immediate family'?

Hi. DD 6 months old. 1st cousin (DH's side) allergic to dairy, wheat & nuts. Not sure if his parents have allergies. DH and i have no allergies, but about to start weaning & not sure if cousins allergies mean we have to be extra careful. Any ideas??

i think immediate family means parents & siblings...but i would double check! x
