'Burning' type sensation in mouth when I eat bread/cakes

What is this? A sign of allergy? It starts as I'm eating the offending food and continues for about an hour later. It has got progressively worse since my second pregnancy. It's not serious but a bit annoying! I don't have any tummy trouble alongside
