or possibly an intolerance. Ds2 is already allergic to dairy, eggs, nuts & wheat.

About 2 months ago I noticed that ds's (2.5) nappies were becoming unformed mush again and then in the last 2 weeks, they developed the nasty "wheated" smell, became mucousy and he was getting terrible nappy rash again. I decided to try and cut down on the amount of soya that he was getting in the form of numerous tru-free biscuits (for calorific content!). He hasn't had a single biscuit in 48 hours and his nappies have improved, have lost the horrific smell and his rash is clearing up.

We don't have an appoiontment for another 4 weeks to go back to the hospital....and that was all they had when I enquired about bringing it forward. I will give it another few days and then re-introduce the tru-free stuff to see what happens.

I sincerely hope that he isn't allergic to soya as it is in sooooo much stuff. I feel like I have been thrown back in at the deep end again

poor you - unfortunately, the soya allergy sometimes seems to come hand in hand with the milk. But what a total and utter pain for you. Fingers crossed that it might be something temporary.
