does anyone else have dc's who only develop eczema after being in hard water?

this has been going on for years. ds had awful eczema as baby and it only cleared up after he started having showers.

now 6yo dd's skin has flared up after playing in a paddling pool the other day and wearing wet clothes for 30 mins.

it's been fine for ages and like clockwork our horrible tap water has trashed her skin. she'll be ok in a day or so (got piriton and magic political anti itch spray) but she's awfully itchy .

Yes and no. I have long suspected hard water playing a part in causing my DC's flare ups. Have you tried using Dead Sea Salts or Epsom Salts, to soften the bath water?
