Anyone use Alprotec barrier bed covers? Do they help with your/ your DC's allergies?

Just that really... and have you had your carpets stripped up? Did it help? What else helped, especially if you or your DC have Eczema/Asthma? DC has house dust mite allergy.

We hot wash all DS's clothing and bedding. All his clothes, including uniform are cotton and he also has a pure cotton duvet.

Thanks

We use the mattress protector recommended by our allergy department, and we use it on some pillows. We haven't used it on the duvet as they are rather crispy/not so soft. We've decided to buy bedlinen that we can wash on hot,

We removed lots of stuff from DD's bedroom and deep cleaned everything, including backs of radiators/tops of wardrobes. We were also advised to remove/minimise mould.

Toys and soft stuff go in plastic boxes with lids under the bed.

We do still have carpets, but these changes have definitely made a difference. It's not perfect but DD's asthma has improved.
