Is anyone able to help me.
On Dec 8th I had my last operation for breast cancer. During the surgery they taped my eyes closed. I had a sever allergic reaction - my eyes became very swollen, bright skin (itchy and burning), cracked and peeling.
I was given steroids and they got better and after awhile I tried using a mascara - and my eyes became swollen/red again. I have since had 3 course of steroids but everytime I stop them my eyes get worse again (it is so depressing because I look soooo awful - and people stare).
I have seen a dermatologist who will be giving me a patch test but the apt came through today for AUGUST - I simply cant wait this long. I have never ever had sensitive skin before but think the damage to them may have made them hypersensitive.
Does anybody have any recommendations as to what I could use on them?
Please help if you can.
