Help - party food ideas for vegetarian guest with nut allergy

Girls are 10. DD's bday party tea - DD would like Indian and Chinese snacky party food - won tons, spring rolls etc - but one guest can't have anything 'made in factory that may have been exposed to nuts'. Have checked in T
Tesco and all their party food say 'may contain nuts. Argh!

Can anyone suggest anything? DD didn't even know this friend had turned vegetarian, so I don;t mind having meat things as well, but obviously want her to be able to eat the majority of food at the party tea!

Your best bet is the Health Food shops or the Free From sections of the supermarkets if you have no time to cook anything.

Where in the country are you? Do you have any chinese supermarkets near you? I know that there is one near Hanger Lane in London and a big one in Nottingham for instance. I have managed to get things for DS in Waitrose too ( he is nut allergic, egg,fish and Sesame too)

Love it when people cater for allergies...Anyway, Indian and Chinese is a bit of a minefield when it comes to nut allergy (I'm assuming it's nuts as well as 'may contain').

M&S do a pack of mini bhajis and samosas that have no nuts (lots of M&S stuff has a 'not suitable for nut allergy' warning, but those don't.

Pizza would be our staple, for veggie friends. Not very Indian but there you go. Would be a good fallback for other kids, too.

My top tip when entertaining other people's kids would be to hand on to the packaging until the other girl's parents have had a change to look at it. Our rule is 'if you can't see the ingredient list, you can't eat it.'
