Quercetin - anyone used it (naturally ) to good effect?

I read something recently about quercetin acting as a natural antihistamine in the body (it's found in greatest amounts in apples (mainly the skin) and red onions.
I wondered if anyone had tried increased consumption of these as a way to reducing histamine reactions (eczema/urticaria)?

Haven't tried it yet but just found some interesting articles on the web about it. I am allergic to loads of foods and medication and also have hayfever. Will try it and let you know how it goes ta
