Steroids and allergy syrup mixed with red bull???

Hi, I'm on steroids to calm down my swelling and am taking cheap piriton syrup from Lloyd's. The syrup is making me so drowsy, I'm not sure I'll be able to function at work. Can I drink red bull do you think?
