My baby is Dairy intolerance

Needing advice?my baby has been diagnosed with having dairy intolerance but been told that she cant have soya till shes a year?im stuck on what foods to buy&where from.some sites ive googled are very costly&not sure if child credits or child benefit can help on costs for this? Thanks

Hi, you can't get any food on prescription or any help with the cost for dairy intolerance. you can only get special formula which your lo will need until age 2 if you are not breast feeding.

Don't buy rice milk as this is not suitable for under 4s due to the arsenic levels in it. Instead you can use Oatly or Koko(coconut milk) in cooking etc.

Pure spread do a soya free version. Tesco are starting to sell coconut yoghurts called Coyo.

You don't need to buy anything from specialist sites, the major supermarkets are now stocking loads of milk alternative products.
