New Latex Allergy - is this a reaction to avocado?

I had a reaction a couple of months ago to ear plugs.....hives and flushing ear to ear and across shoulders, swelling on neck, blisters in ears and on bottom lip, swelling and tingling on lips. GP has confirmed latex allergy, prescribed me a new anti-histamine (Fexofenadine) as I seem to be having lots of flare ups lately and nearly permanently itchy face, as well as Piriton. She has also referred me to the allergy clinic and prescribed and Epi Pen.

I have never had a reaction to avocados, (haven't eaten any for a long while though) but do with pineapples, they make the skin in my mouth come off, and bananas and celery make my teeth feel funny, and numb my mouth.

On Monday I went out for a meal and had Nachos with Guacamole. I had itching on my face and flushing on face neck and chest, but I keep having that when I eat anyway, even at home. My stomach felt uneasy later in the night, then 12 hours later I had stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting. Since then, I have itching in throat and in ears, on face and scalp and a sore spot on my tongue. Also, I keep feeling nauseous and have had a headache on and off.

My question is: are these symptoms from the avocado, this is the first time I have eaten avocado since the latex allergy, or just another flare up which I seem to be having loads of at the moment?
(when I first developed my shellfish allergy, I had a similar but more severe reaction, spent three days in bed or on the toilet!)
TIA

www.anaphylaxis.org.uk/userfiles/files/Factsheets/Latex%20Allergy%20v6%20reformatted%20Feb%202014.pdf - looks like you can react to bananas, avocados, kiwifruit, chestnut and papaya if you have latex allergy

Thanks for the replies - I have been really ill so apologies for not coming back sooner. I will be sure to avoid avocados until I can get tested. I had read about the cross reactions, but most reactions seem to be skin not upset stomach. I also have IBS so these reactions seem to go on for a while.

Latex allergy is part of the birch tree allergy. It can include pineapples, kiwi fruit, melon and red fruit eg strawberries, cherries and raw tomatoes, as they are also a fruit. I don't know about avocados, I can eat them. The raw tomatoes would have been in the guacamole, so raw tomatoes the prob not avocado.

It took me 12 months, discussions at make up counters to repair my swollen face, endless courses of prednisone and anti histamines until I worked that out. Be careful with plasters, washing up gloves, condoms Shock and stretchy stuff in bra straps.
