Dumbass question -is lactose ok for CMPA baby?

Dim dim dim question - been using Ashton +Parsons teething powders for my 5 mo, have been dairy free for 4 weeks but have had two definite accidental consumptions that have set things back. Getting better at packet reading and I spotted the lactose in the A+P. Been using them on and off for a few weeks. Should I find other teething powders?

lactose is the sugar in the milk so it should be ok as CMPA is an allergy to the cows milk protein.

Yes, I thought that BB and should have said so. It's a risk to weigh up in the knowledge of your own child's possible reactions.

It's really not a dim question at all!! My understanding is that the lactose in products is very rarely from a milk source and if it is then they have to declare it. My DS is very sensitive to CMP and has never had a problem with products with lactose in the ingredients.

Teetha powder also contains lactose. I got Ashton and parsons instead but duh!! I am a bit fearful to use either now...
