Could DD be allergic to wheat/gluten?

DD had skin prick tests that confirmed cows milk allergy but no wheat allergy. She had it again, and all came back completely clear for milk, soya, wheat etc.

However, when we re-introduced milk via a biscuit, she reacted to it, so we are now completely dairy, soya and egg free.

BUT she still has a rash that comes up and tends to have an upset night then. Could this be wheat allergy/intolerance despite the test coming clear?

It could be a non-ige allergy, delayed rash and unsettled nights are symptoms my son gets. It could be milk, wheat or any of the other ingredients in the biscuit. My son is fine with milk and wheat but can't eat malted milk biscuits due to the barley. Only way to know would be to try them separately and keep a diary. eg. for wheat try 100% wheat pasta, fresh milk for milk trial and something like rice krispies to trial barley. And any others depending on ingredients. Alternatively most good shortbread biscuits are just butter, wheat, and sugar so if these are fine you know it is one of the other ingredients iyswim?

Thanks piggy! It's so difficult to know exactly what is the culprit. Plus I am BFing so it's even more difficult!
