Can you recommend a good consultant for allergy testing?

Having had no joy with the NHS and various GPs/MVs I've decided to go down the private route. Can you recommend any good consultants so that I can finally have my dd2's milk allergy confirmed?
Thanks very much (I'm in Middx but can travel).

Dr Gideon Lack, consultant allergist and immunologist, based at St Mary's Paddington but has private clinic at the Portland Consulting rooms. His office no is 020 7390 8347. V well respected, was the guy who did the research showing a link between ezcema and peanut allergy (from peanut oil used in many emollients used on broken skin). Also a nice, gentle s african who was very good with my dd (4 when she saw him).
Good luck!

We see Dr Susan Leach at King's (on the NHS). Our son is severely milk and egg allergic and she has been fantastic. It took approx 3/4 months to get an appointment but was worth the wait. The appointment includes skin testing and a session with the dietician (this is a godsend for trying to cater for him). I can also recommend the anaphylaxis campaign if the allergy is that severe - they have made things far easier for us. Good luck
