DH allergic to wasps - will kids be too?

Does anyone out there know if there is a way of finding out if my kids are allergic to wasps/bees? My hubby has to carry an eppipen as he is deadly allergic to them, and I was wondering if my kids are likley to be too.
we have seen a couple of wasps about & I am starting to freak out.

Are your kids allergic generally? it's my understanding that it the atopy that's inherited - not the specific allergies.

I have not come across anything they are allergic to so far.
