Which loaves of bread are soya free?

The babys developed an allergy to soya.

The only one I know of has 'nutty and seeds' s' written on it.

Which plain white or wholemeal loaves are soya free?

Might be a good idea to invest in a breadmaker - we bought one when DS had to avoid soya and it really was invaluable.

(I know there are some shop-bought loaves which are soya free, but I don't know which they are - hopefully somebody will be along soon to tell you).

Some of the Tesco Finest sliced loaves are ok - there is a wholemeal and an oat-style loaf.

Waitrose is pretty good, they do a 'whole and white' best of both style slice loaf that is soya free. Some of their bakery bread is ok too, most of the baguettes are.

M&S do brown mini-sub rolls, and some of their batch-style sliced bread is soya free.

I've not found anything in Sainsburys bread range that is soya free . But weirdly their basics garlic baguettes are dairy and soya free.

The other option is that most of the 'bake at home' style white baguettes and rolls are dairy and soya free, they don't taste amazing but are pretty useful to have in the cupboard as a backup.

Waitrose def the best! Their wholemeal is lovely it's either orane or yellow packaging depending on thick or medium slice and as above their white n whole loaf. I buy loads then freeze in sandwich bags three slices at a time for toast and a sandwich .

Also aldi muffins and bagels too and some crumpets, ciabatta etc

I shop in Tesco, sainsbury's, and occasionally Asda. I gave up looking after a while as the only one I found was Tesco finest oatmeal batch! It is very nice though, the whole family like it. I did notice that hovis made one, wholemeal or something, but Tesco only sold it in thick sliced- I prefer medium.
I do have a breadmaker which is fantastic, but it's nice to have the convenience of a sliced loaf too.

Tesco also do a 'Toastie' Wholemeal Thick Bread without soya. Almost half the price, and same star rating.

Jacksons used to make white, wholemeal and seeded, all good.

The Polish bakery breads are soya free. We only have an asda that's convenient and we use this.
We tend to use bagels, pitta breads, wraps and breakfast muffins as most are soya free. We tend to use those mainly as we often find bread goes to waste as our non allergy kids don't eat the same bread.

Just be mindful that E471, E442, etc can contain Soy. Naught not be an issue but is for some.
