I came across this blog through a link someone posted on Style and Beauty, and thought I'd have a go at the summer berry cobbler - more for my benefit than ds's - I miss pudding!
Tastes delicious, if a bit sweet. Next time, I'd probably leave the sugar out of the heated berries, and strain off some of the juice from them before adding them to the batter, as my version was somewhat soggy compared to the picture on the link. In hindsight, it may be that I needed a slightly lower baking heat as I was using a fan oven...
Anyway, it's worth a go while fruit is at its least expensive, and I don't see why you couldn't replace the milk and butter with dairy-free versions either. Will definitely be doing it again!
