Hi, My eldest daughter suffers from anaphylaxis and my younger 2 dd's have allergies & intolerances, dh is also lactose intolerant.

I took my eldest daughter to The Allergy & Free From Show in London last May and we found it really helpful as there were loads of products available to try, new brands we hadn't seen before and they also had cooking demos. There were representatives from Allergy UK, The Anaphylaxis Campaign, Coeliac UK, Asthma UK, IBS Network and National Eczema Society. There were seminars by allergy consultants and other experts in the field. We made a weekend out of it and went for 2 days as there was so much to see. We even met Dr Chris Steele off This Morning (he was lovely)!

It was absolutely packed (I think around 14,000 attended over 3 days). It has only previously been held in London but it is going to be held in the North for the first time in October. The show takes place on 27?28 October at Liverpool?s BT Convention Centre.

The tickets to the Liverpool event are £5 if purchased in advance and £10 on the day (kids go free). If you click on www.allergyshow.co.uk/go/allergyzone you can download your tickets for free.

If you suffer from or know someone who suffers from allergies and intolerances it is certainly worth a visit to The Allergy & Free From Show North. I just wanted to let you know about this as it's the first time it will be held in the North so I hope that it's well attended so that it won't be the last!
