Quick question re reaction, antihistamine & breastfeeding

In a nutshell: DD (11 months) had reaction to egg today. The obvious signs passed fairly quickly but because of speed of reaction & small amount of allergen (egg) that she had, doc has prescribed antihistamine in case it happens again.

We're now onto the secondary symptoms - stomach cramps, disturbed sleep, frequent feeding. But of course I had egg too, so some of it has probably passed into milk. (she's only ever had 'secondary' symptoms to reactions when allergen has been through bm, never hives etc)

So, considering she had the reaction earlier, is this a time I would consider giving the antihistamine? Forgot to ask doc as she was more focused on what to do if severe reaction.
