My eldest dd 14yrs is going to Hyde Park tomorrow with friends.
Has anyone had any issues with taking Epipens and antihistamines in through security?
I have e-mailed the promotors and am waiting for a reply, just wondered if anyone had personal experience.
Thanks

Well I'm impressed that the event managers e-mailed me back quickly to say it would not be a problem to bring Epipens into the venue. Apparently security is tight and checks are made on bags etc so I will make sure she has her repeat prescription, doctors letter and medic bracelet.

We had no problem going through security at the Olympic Park yesterday with ds' epipens and other meds. They looked very closely at it through the x-ray and as soon as I said it was epipens, they let us straight through, no looking at it outside the bag or paperwork required.
