Holiday in France - coeliac

Can anyone tell me what to expect? Should we take bread with us? The place we're staying doesn't have a v big supermarket.

we are going to france with a few allergies, so have brought a car fridge and am taking our daughters bread/cereal and marge with us.

will have to visit a big supermarket at some point and find safe food for all.
