I want to scream and shout

I can't do this again, only this time its worse.

I feel like handing dd2 over and running away.

The screaming, I thought we sorted it. We've had a week of a happy baby and I thought finally. I started to bond with my precious baby, but today it feels like were back at square 1.

I'm waiting for the Dr to call me back and I will demand an urgent referral to Dr Dawson. I'm not taking no for an answer. In some ways I'm stronger this time round, I know what I'm fighting for and I won't take any crap, but in other ways I'm not. I just want to curl up and cry, run away from all this.

My precious baby is suffering. How do I deal with this again?

Good luck - I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but you seem determined to improve your situation!

thanks totally, I was in a bad place yesterday, and obviously not making much sence!

my dd1 has had allergys and reflux since she was a baby she is now almost 2 and pretty much grown out of them all, apart from an unknown allergy and heyfever. we finally got to see an allergy nurse and did some skin prick tests (hurrah) but she was really angry we wernt allowed to see any one sooner and have been left to our own devices, and sent a letter to my dr sugery telling them as much, she also suggested in the letter my dd2 needs to see an allergy specialist asap (dr dawson) but my dr said no Confused Sad (dr has a history of saying to no, when dd2 pead put her on renatidine dr refused to give repeat perscription even tho pead had written a letter saying to, pead had to ring dr directly and talk to him)

dd2 has worse reflux and allergies, she is 5 months old and has spent most of her life in pain, I think its more likely to be intollerances rather than allergies tho. I took her off Neocate and gave her Soya last thursday as she was worse after feeds and just wanted to see what would happen, I figured it could hardly make her any worse and I needed to do something, and she is almost a diffrent child, she is happy and she sleeps! (read I sleep!)

My dr isnt happy with this, (although her pead is) and sent me a letter saying I MUST put her back on neocate, its neglect if I dont he threatened to get ss involved Sad. I've really struggled to bond with dd2 because all she does is cry and scream, but this past week has been a dream, shes played and cood and she can now sit up! Grin

so yesterday I phoned the dr sugery and asked to speak to dr, to tell him there was no way I was putting her back on neocate, she was happy on soya and I need a referal to Dr dawson asap.

then while waiting for the dr to call me back I came on here! I was in a bad place as you can see, but its looking brighter. The dr still wants her back on neocate, but as far as i'm concerned it would be neglect to feed her something which is obviously causing her pain, so I wont. He has given me a referal to the specialist in the hope 'he will talk some sense in to you', I'm more hoping he will see my side and help me!

does that make more sence?! Grin

btw we are planning on moving dr sugeries, but we are in the process of selling our house and moving to a new area so will do it as soon as we move.

and soya = wysoy, so not random adult soya milk for the baby

Crikey - can you change your GP - he seems to be the fly in the ointment - every other medical professional you have seen seems to disagree with him.

Can you write to your Medical council about him - he seems unprofessional to threaten you like that?

My DD flourished on wysoy, and threw up on any dairy. If I had dairy when breastfeeding she had wind like you wouldn't believe.

The only thing I'll say against soya formula is that it might affect how early your DD has puberty (oestrogens) so take her off it as soon as you can and on to water, or follow on goats milk.

good luck with the move, etc
